(10) Cutting Horse, "Sparrow". Now available at equinartcreations.com
First photo - pictured cast in solid silver. This is the first step (after sculpting, of course!) to creating a mold with more than one cavity of the same model in it. The molds used to make pewter models can accommodate five models of this size. This run will include four different models (the following ones!) and two copies of Sparrow. Thus, Sparrow will be a 100-piece run, where the other three will be 50-piece runs.

(above) Cob. He's green below because I have begun using "Green Stuff", an epoxy putty which cures slightly flexible, and the gray is Apoxie Sculpt. I didn't paint him because I'd just have had to strip him when I sent him to the caster anyway! |
